Terms & Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other written information brought to your attention before confirming your seat in our courses or lessons form the basis of your contract with GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd.
Please read them carefully, as they set out your respective rights and obligations. In these booking conditions, references to “you” and “your” include the first named person on the application form and all persons on whose behalf a booking is made.

Booking
A booking is made with GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd when the required registration form is filled and/or first payment or the down payment mentioned on the estimate and/or invoice is made: in cash against an official receipt, via bank transfer, or by office cheque addressed to GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd.


With your application, you commit yourself to the services requested and the course or lesson conditions mentioned on your estimate or invoice.
The down payment (first payment) must be made at least 7 days prior to the course or lesson start, unless stated otherwise on your estimate or invoice.


After the registration form is filled in and sent, a confirmation of seat reservation / enrolment will be sent to you.
In special cases, GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd offers payment facilities in monthly installments after the first payment has been made.


A contract will come into existence between you and GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd as soon as a booking confirmation has been issued and sent to you.


If any document provided to you is incorrect, you must inform GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd immediately, as changes cannot be made later and it may affect your rights if GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd is not notified of any inaccuracies within five (5) working days of sending it to you.


All due invoices must be settled at least 14 days before the end of the course. Certificates will be issued only when all payments have been made.

Accuracy

Our prices are registered with the Mauritius Qualifications Authority (MQA) and can be verified if you wish to.
If you are unsure, please always check the current course or lesson price and all other details with the staff of GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd before confirming your booking.


If any person or external party requests or offers prices different from those published on your estimate, invoice, website, or brochures on behalf of GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd, you should inform GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd immediately, as transparency and fairness are part of our quality policy.

Liability

Parents of minors or adult students agree that neither GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd nor its partners shall be liable for accidents, damages, or problems caused either negligently or intentionally by their wards or adults while on school premises, in class, or during any trip or activity organized by GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd.

Changes by you

If you wish to change any part of your booking arrangements after the confirmation invoice has been issued, you must inform GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd in writing as soon as possible.
While GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd will do its utmost to assist, it cannot guarantee that requested changes can be made.
If GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd is unable to assist and you do not wish to proceed with the original booking, it will be treated as a cancellation by you. A cancellation fee will apply as per the Cancellation Policy below.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by You:

You may cancel their booking arrangements at any time by submitting a written notice to GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd. Cancellation will take effect only upon receipt and written acknowledgment by GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd. 

Administrative Considerations:

Given that language training commences from the first scheduled lesson and each course has limited student capacity, administrative, material, and scheduling costs are incurred. Consequently, cancellation fees apply as set out as follows.

Note:

A cancellation fee of MUR 15,000 will be charged for any cancellations pertaining to bundle course bookings (multiple courses) or discounted multiple-course packages.

Upon receiving your cancellation notice, GoAcademy! Mauritius will send you a Receipt of Notice of Course Cancellation (RNCC) via email. This document will include all relevant details, any applicable costs, and a secure link to complete the cancellation process.
The registration fee, administrative fee, German for Teens fees, and any course or lesson fees where expressly stated, or any invoice with a discount applied, are non-refundable.
GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd reserves the right to make a refund (where and if applicable) within, but not limited to, 90 working days.

Cancellation by GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd

Institutional Cancellations
In the event that GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd is unable to deliver the agreed training services due to unforeseen circumstances or situations beyond our control, the learner or the parents/guardians of a minor learner shall be entitled to one of the following remedies:

  • A fair and proportionate refund according to this cancellation policy(where and if applicable), or

  • A course rescheduling or a course credit.

Commitment to Fair Practice
GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd remains committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and fairness in all service-related matters.

Refund Processing Period
In exceptional circumstances where an approved refund is due, GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd reserves the right to make a refund (where and if applicable) within, but not limited to, ninety (90) working days from the date of approval.

Rights to image and film materials

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you accept that GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd has the right to use any photos, videos, or sound recordings produced during your course or program for lawful promotional purposes, without cost implication or the need for a separate authorization.

Online /Blended Class

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you accept that GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd has the right to swap classes from face-to-face to online and/or blended formats while ensuring that course content and hours remain the same.
This change may extend course duration but will not reduce the course quality.
Such a change incurs no cost implication, no refund, and requires no additional authorization from you.

Force Majeure
Except where expressly stated otherwise, GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd will not be liable or required to pay compensation if its contractual obligations are affected by events beyond its control such as war, terrorism, industrial dispute, government act, or natural disaster.

Special Requests
Any special requests must be communicated upon acceptance of your estimate and confirmed in writing.
GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd will make every effort to fulfill reasonable requests but cannot guarantee fulfillment.

Behavior
In the opinion of GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd or any authority, your behavior (or that of any member of your party) causes or is likely to cause distress, danger, or property damage, GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd reserves the right to terminate your booking immediately without refund. You will be liable for any damages or legal costs incurred.

Language Requirements for German University Applicants
Students intending to pursue studies at a German-medium university must complete either the C1 Hochschule German exam or the ÖSD C2 exam.
These are not included in course prices and will be quoted separately upon request.

Disclaimer
Information may be updated without notice. GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd cannot be held responsible for postponements or cancellations of TELC/ÖSD exams, which depend on the examination bodies and number of participants.

General Disciplinary Guidelines
Students must attend punctually, behave respectfully, avoid drugs, alcohol, and smoking, and contribute to a safe, respectful learning environment.

By registering for and/or effecting any payment to GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd, you confirm that you have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions, which constitute a binding agreement between you and GoAcademy! (Mauritius) Ltd.
