The Unipathway English Program is a comprehensive language journey designed to take learners from absolute beginner to upper intermediate level. The program is ideal for those aiming to study, work, or integrate successfully into an English-taught program at a German public university. Each level builds progressively upon the last, helping learners gain the language skills and confidence needed for everyday communication, academic readiness, and professional success. The Upper Intermediate level is a prerequisite for working in Germany, even though university courses will be conducted in English.

This level ensures that learners can engage effectively with the broader community and workplace.

  • 456 hours

    Full time, 29 Weeks

    Monday to Friday (excl. Wednesday)

    08:15 - 14:15 

    (No class on Public holidays)

    Part time, 26 months

    Twice weekly (4hrs)

    19:00 - 21:00

    • Discuss abstract topics, give presentations, and express complex opinions

    • Understand German in various contexts (media, news, literature, work)

    • Use advanced grammar (subjunctive mood, relative clauses, advanced tenses)

    • Improve reading and writing skills, including essays and formal letters

    • Master listening comprehension with authentic German audio and video materials

    • Intensive speaking practice to boost fluency and accuracy

    • Exposure to authentic, high-level materials (articles, podcasts, videos)

    • Exam Preparation Embedded
       Get ready for recognized German exams ÖSD or telc, required for university admission in Germany.

    • Enroll in most English medium university programs in Germany.
